Detective Tom Nichols is called in to investigate the brutal murder of a young real estate agent. As he digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a tangled web of secrets and lies involving the victim's family, friends, and colleagues. Nichols soon realizes that he is dealing with something more than just a simple murder.

Nichols is a hardened detective who has seen it all. But this case is different. It's personal. Nichols knows the victim, and he's determined to find her killer.

As Nichols investigates, he uncovers a conspiracy that goes deeper than he ever imagined. He's up against powerful people who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

But Nichols is not afraid. He's determined to bring the killers to justice, no matter the cost.
