Synopsis:
Debbie (Witherspoon) and Peter (Kutcher) are best friends, opposites in every way, and separated by miles. Debbie lives a structured life in Los Angeles, raising her teenage son Jack. Peter thrives on spontaneity in New York City, juggling a career in finance and a carefree bachelor lifestyle.
